¡Join our UNICEF Colombia team and make a difference in the lives of children and adolescents! Our UNICEF Colombia team is looking for a Human Resources Specialist with at least 5 years of increasingly responsible professional experience in human resources management that includes design mechanism to strengthen the organizational culture and improvement to the organizational environment in an international organization and/or large corporation.
We are looking for an individual who is passionate about UNICEF's mission, with a strong interest in humanitarian work and an active commitment and readiness to deal with situations in emergency contexts.
UNICEF is a global leader in advocating for the rights and wellbeing of every child, and it relies heavily on its dedicated staff and partnerships to achieve its mission. The Private Fundraising and Partnerships (PFP) division, based in Geneva, is responsible for private-sector fundraising, engagement, and partnerships, playing a crucial role in generating resources to support UNICEF’s work.
To enhance the efficiency, retention, and career development of its staff, UNICEF Geneva aims to improve and formalize the career development pathways within PFP and other related Divisions, specifically the Division of Global Communication and Advocacy (DGCA), Public Partnerships Division (PPD) and Generation Unlimited (Gen U). These four Divisions collectively form the Partnership Cone, which coordinates fundraising, advocacy, and public-private partnerships to support UNICEF’s goals.
As part of UNICEF’s ongoing efforts to support staff development and build a more effective organization, a comprehensive approach to career path development within the Partnership Cone is critical. Therefore, UNICEF is seeking a consultant to conduct research and propose structured career paths, helping align staff growth with organizational needs and long-term goals.
Under the direct supervision of the Business Analysis Manager (Partnerships) - UNISON, the Business Analysis Officer is expected to work in the planning, design, development, testing and roll-out of any new requirements identified by Public Partnerships users, and to support public sector partnerships stakeholders to understand and derive value from UNISON. The incumbent will be a vital link between the business and technical teams and be responsible for drafting documents, conducting trainings, and consulting and coordinating with relevant HQ teams as well as Country Offices and Regional Offices, to support effective integration and drive user adoption for public sector partnerships.
This role is expected to take ownership for coordination across teams working on public sector partnerships, responding to operational issues, and communicating to the wider UNISON business and technical teams. The incumbent will demonstrate strong ability to effectively self-manage priorities and be able to collaborate effectively between end users and technical teams.
The incumbent will work closely with the technical team (Salesforce Solution lead, Integration developer, Salesforce support resources, contracted providers of Salesforce apps) in the rollout and adoption of any new technical solutions. While the focus will be primarily on solutions and uptake for teams working on public sector partnerships across the organization, the incumbent is expected to be familiar with and backstop on the general workings of UNISON for private sector partnerships as well, and to contribute to synergies within the system across public and private sector processes and functions.
If you are a committed, creative professional and are passionate about making a lasting difference for children, the world's leading children's rights organization would like to hear from you.
