We are looking for a Programme Officer who will be involved in the careful planning and effective implementation of the Harmonized Approach to Cash Transfers (HACT) activities that directly impacts on programme execution, delivery of sustainable results, and promoting national ownership and accountability for programme resources. This Temporary Appointment is for 364 days.
Candidates applying for positions in the NO category must possess the nationality of the country of the duty station, with the exception of internal candidates who are legally permitted to work for UNICEF in the country independently of UNICEF appointment. The Program Officer (Sub-national Cluster Coordinator) will work impartially, serving the needs of all members of the WASH Cluster and should work closely with the WASH Regional Coordinator (East/South) and/or the Chief of Field Office (in their absence), OCHA focal points, and Local Government counterparts as appropriate.
The objective of the sub-national WASH Cluster is to facilitate and support operational coordination of humanitarian/early recovery actions and plans amongst all local WASH stakeholders at the oblast / region level.

This is the senior GS level for specialized procurement/supply chain work and requires advanced specialized knowledge acquired through formal training and experience. The function is to lead and carry out responsibility for end-to-end supply chain management from the beginning to the end of the process and provide input into the design and development of improved supply chain services and delivery mechanisms. This is a fixed term appointment for an initial contract of up to 31 Dec 2025.
