The Programme Specialist (Field Operations) will assist the Chief Field Operations and Emergency (CFOE) in overseeing and supporting UNICEF’s field operations in Sudan. The incumbent will contribute to the planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of program activities at the field level, as well as emergency preparedness and response. This will involve close coordination with country office program sections, operations and field offices to ensure the survival, wellbeing of children, mothers, and affected communities, in accordance with the obligations of the Core Commitments for Children (CCCs) in humanitarian action.
The Nutrition Officer provides professional technical, operational and administrative assistance throughout the programming process for the nutrition programmes/projects within the Country Programme, from development planning to delivery of results. In doing so, the incumbent implements a variety of technical and administrative programme tasks to facilitate programme development, implementation, programme progress monitoring, evaluation, and reporting of results.
Under the guidance of the Senior Programme Manager, provide professional technical assistance and support for programme coordination, planning and implementation, and management, especially with regards to integrated and cross-cutting programmes in support of programme goals and objectives.
