UNICEF Sierra Leone is seeking to hire an international consultant to support a comprehensive mid-term review of the STG and SCG grants to provide actionable recommendations for the remaining implementation period and provide a pathway for sustainability.
The incumbent coordinates day-to-day execution, monitoring and optimization of Individual Giving activities across key channels, supports vendor coordination and performance tracking, and contributes analysis and recommendations to strengthen sustainable income growth, donor retention and lifetime value, in line with the country fundraising strategy.
The incumbent supports the effective execution, monitoring and optimization of Individual Giving activities across relevant channels, including Digital fundraising, Face-to-face acquisition, Telemarketing / SMS, DRTV and other direct response channels, Lead generation initiatives, Retention and value maximization campaigns, Donor care and service, and Legacy fundraising.
The role contributes to sustainable income growth, strengthening donor lifetime value (LTV), donor retention, and efficient budget management and performance monitoring across all channels.
The role coordinates and collaborates transversally with the supervision teams of contact providers, BI, Procurement, Digital and other internal areas, ensuring operational coherence, efficiency in execution and a consistent donor experience throughout their different journeys.
The role ensures in particular:
• Timely and quality execution of planned activities.
• Systematic monitoring of KPIs and operational results.
• Organization and prioritization of tasks and processes.
• Effective coordination with suppliers and internal areas.
• Use of digital tools and data for continuous improvement.
The consultant will provide technical support to strengthen the institutional capacities of the local self-governments supported by the Ministry of Tourism and Youth for the development of Local Volunteer Services (LVS). The assignment will focus on supporting the establishment and operationalization of LVS, enhancing multi-stakeholder coordination, and contributing to sustainable governance models.
The consultant will work on capacity development, technical advisory, stakeholder engagement, and systems strengthening related to volunteer management, safeguarding, partnerships, and community engagement, in collaboration with Youth Offices, civil society organizations, and relevant public institutions.
