To advance its Digital Learning Strategy (2025–2030), UNICEF is establishing a new Strategic Partner Engagement Consultancy. This consultancy will focus on managing critical partner negotiations, roadmaps, and events, , and delivering joint strategies and agreements that will continue to build the technical and programmatic foundations of the Learning Passport programme. The successful result(s) of this consultancy will advance the priorities of UNICEF’s new Digital Learning Strategy and contribute to the goals of the coming Strategic Plan.
The consultant will work closely with the Learning Passport Global Lead to support targeted, and core, partnership negotiation and engagement workflows. This will include guiding the technical strategic direction of agreements to best deliver programmatic results, with a focus on supporting successful executive engagements of UNICEF and its key Learning Passport partners.
Additionally, the consultant will support the management of the Learning Passport Leadership Council—under the direction of the Global Lead—and collaborate with all major Learning Passport partners. As part of the development of UNICEF Africa’s flagship publication on human capital, ESARO wishes to engage two researchers from African universities to synthesise their body of literature on the subject.
UNICEF Sudan is seeking an Education Specialist to support the development and planning of the Learning and Skills Development Programme and lead the coordination of the Education Cluster within the Country Programme in Atbara. The Specialist will provide technical guidance and managerial support throughout the programme cycle and will supervise Education Officer(s) in Atbara.
Under the supervision of the Chief, Education or Education Specialist, the Education Officer provides professional technical, operational and administrative assistance throughout the programming process for education programmes/projects within the Country Programme from development planning to delivery of results, preparing, executing, managing and implementing a variety of technical and administrative programme tasks to facilitate programme development, implementation, programme progress monitoring, evaluating and reporting.
Under the guidance and general supervision of the Chief, Education (Level 4), the Education Specialist supports the implementation of the Education programme and is responsible for managing, implementing, monitoring, evaluating and reporting the progress of education programmes/projects within the country programme. The Specialist provides technical guidance and management support throughout the programming processes to facilitate the administration and achievement of results on education programmes/projects to improve learning outcomes and equitable and inclusive education, especially for children who are marginalized, disadvantaged and excluded in society.
The Specialist contributes to achievement of results according to plans, allocation, results based-management approaches and methodology (RBM), as well as UNICEF’s Strategic Plans, standards of performance, and accountability framework.
