The key result is that adequate resources are mobilized to implement the UNICEF Niger country programme and reach expected results for women and children.
The HR Officer reports to the Chief of HR for close guidance, training and supervision. The Officer provides support to the supervisor and colleagues in the unit by
executing HR services through applying knowledge of theoretical HR models, as well as
understanding of organizational HR policies and procedures.
The Public and Private Partnerships (PPP) section of UNICEF’s Eastern and Southern Africa Regional Office (ESARO) provides guidance and technical support to 21 country offices and regional office programme sections on engagement with public and private partners. The section also develops and stewards regional/multi-country partnerships and regional-level relationships to open new avenues for collaboration and funding that complement individual country office efforts.

The UNICEF Kosovo Programme 2021-2025 is designed to promote and ensure that the rights of children are identified and attended to, either directly or through advocacy with partners and relevant Kosovo institutions. The programme focuses on the significant challenges facing children, adolescents and youth at different stages of their growth and development, embedded across three key programme pillars that span across their life cycle: i) First decade: Young Children and Their Parents, ii) Second decade: Empowerment and Participation of Adolescents and Young People, iii) Normative agenda: Social Inclusion and Child Rights Monitoring.
The Emergency section in ECARO is looking to recruit a motivated Emergency Officer P2 TA in its O/P Istanbul Turkiye, whom under the supervision of the Regional Advisor Emergency will will support the UNICEF ECARO Emergency and Partnerships Teams in the coordination and management of the ongoing Ukraine Refugee Response, as well as other humanitarian responses, by contributing to work streams around reporting, coordination, response planning and preparedness. Under the supervision of the Regional Emergency Adviser, and in close collaboration with the emergency and partnerships teams, regional sections and country teams, the Emergency Officer will ensure fulfilment of internal and external proposal, appeal development and reporting requirements and support internal coordination of the Ukraine Refugee Response and provide support to the regional Emergency Team to implement the region-wide emergency preparedness and response agenda.
