In line with the overall goal to contribute to Kosovo’s development efforts, to enable all children, adolescents, and young people, especially the most marginalized, to have their rights progressively fulfilled and to develop to their full potential in a protective and inclusive society, UNICEF focuses on rigorous and systematic progress monitoring and reporting on the results. To this end, UNICEF Kosovo Office is seeking for an international consultant to support with the compilation and editing of the 2024 end-year related reporting in line with the Result Based Management principles.

How can you make a difference? 

• Consolidating, reviewing, and editing the Result Assessment Management (RAM) narrative, ensuring alignment with UNICEF guidelines and RBM principles.
• Consolidating, reviewing, and editing the End-Year Annual narrative report, maintaining compliance with UNICEF guidelines and RBM principles.
• Addressing comments and making revisions to the RAM and End-Year Annual narrative reports based on feedback from quality assurance reviews.
• Develop a summarized (short) version of the 2024 Annual report for public sharing.

To qualify as an advocate for every child you will have… 

• Master’s degree or equivalent in social, development studies, or other relevant fields.
• At least 5 years of experience of professional experience in Result Based Management reporting, including in monitoring, research, or evaluation.
• Required previous experience with UN system operation preferably in Europe and the Western Balkan region.
• Proven experience in drafting of analytical reports, ability to summarize and synthesize data, evidence, and arguments.
• Excellent communication and writing skills in the English language.
• Excellent computer skills.;

Individuals engaged under a consultancy or individual contract will not be considered “staff members” under the Staff Regulations and Rules of the United Nations and UNICEF’s policies and procedures, and will not be entitled to benefits provided therein (such as leave entitlements and medical insurance coverage). Their conditions of service will be governed by their contract and the General Conditions of Contracts for the Services of Consultants and Individual Contractors. Consultants and individual contractors are responsible for determining their tax liabilities and for the payment of any taxes and/or duties, in accordance with local or other applicable laws. 

The selected candidate is solely responsible to ensure that the visa (applicable) and health insurance required to perform the duties of the contract are valid for the entire period of the contract. Selected candidates are subject to confirmation of fully-vaccinated status against SARS-CoV-2 (Covid-19) with a World Health Organization (WHO)-endorsed vaccine, which must be met prior to taking up the assignment. It does not apply to consultants who will work remotely and are not expected to work on or visit UNICEF premises, programme delivery locations or directly interact with communities UNICEF works with, nor to travel to perform functions for UNICEF for the duration of their consultancy contracts.
