The Finance Assistant is responsible for executing a broad variety of standardized financial tasks for Operations section requiring thorough knowledge of UNICEF administrative and financial procedures, processes, and policies. In this role, it is essential to project the image of a reliable and efficient financial assistant. Accountable for professional technical contribution to project design, planning, implementation, monitoring, evaluation and administration of Immunization (EPI) programme/project activities, including data analysis, programme support, delivery, progress reporting, and commitment for expansion of immunization coverage, as well as enhancement of teamwork and capacity building, in support of achievement of planned objectives of the work plan, aligned with country programme goals, objectives and strategy.
The incumbent will report directly to the Supply and Logistics Manager and provide technical support to Program sections, Operations, and field offices.
The Construction Specialist is responsible for providing technical guidance, operational support and coordination of construction activities throughout all stages of construction projects. The management of construction projects includes planning, designing, contracting, as well as overseeing and monitoring of construction works and public infrastructure projects on site. These projects include, but are not limited to, water supply systems, sanitation facilities, solar power installations, public healthcare facilities, educational institutions, and Early Childhood Development Centers.
