Under the supervision and guidance of the supervisor, the programme associate supports the respective section (s) by carrying out a range of programme support functions to help develop, implement and monitor their country programme, ensuring effective and timely delivery that is consistent with UNICEF rules and regulations.

A key premise for PPD is that the engagement with countries should be holistic based on multiple aspects of partnerships, including policy advocacy and resource mobilization.How can you make a difference?The Coordination Specialist is responsible for supporting the Director in implementing and following up on key strategic priorities; coordinating, managing and planning activities in a systematic and organized manner; and lastly, managing an effective system for incoming information, including correspondence and decision memos.
The purpose of this consultancy is to finalize and operationalize the subnational INFORM model, ensuring that it meets methodological standards and can be reliably used for child-sensitive climate and disaster risk analysis in Madagascar.
Key objectives include:
• Revising and restructuring the existing draft INFORM model to align with CCRI-DRM standards and UNICEF guidance;
• Validating revised indicators and composite indices through national consultation;
• Integrating the model into the national GeoSight platform;
• Building capacity among national institutions to independently maintain, update, and utilize the model in planning and early warning systems.
The final model will serve as a strategic tool to guide government institutions and partners in prioritizing interventions for risk-informed, child-sensitive development planning and humanitarian preparedness.
