At UNICEF we are looking for a the Innovative and Sustainable Financing consultant will be instrumental in leading the CO teams and providing strategic advisory to the Colombia, Chile and Uruguay CO teams in exploring, designing, and implementing a variety of financing solutions.
The role involves providing leadership to BMI ideation and implementation under the Innovative and Sustainable Finance Learning Lab in 3 countries, making critical contributions to innovative finance structuring, product development, and the coordinating with public and private sector (PPD and PFP) colleagues the execution of financing strategies to effectively mobilize resources that support UNICEF’s mission.
The consultant will be supervised by the UNICEF South Africa Communication Specialist and work closely with the SACO Youth Engagement team and the Global Volunteer Initiative team at UNICEF Headquarters, which leads the global rollout of the Green Rising initiative.
The consultant will lead and expand UNICEF South Africa’s youth engagement strategy, ensuring meaningful human-centre designed youth participation across civic action, climate action and justice, advocacy, learning-to-earning pathways, and key programmatic areas, including Education, Health, Adolescent Development and Participation (ADAP), Child Protection, Social Policy, and Innovations.
1. Assess the needs and gaps in term of Maternal, Infant, and Young Child nutrition in emergency context
2. Develop a comprehensive Rwanda National guideline on Maternal, Infant, and Young Child nutrition in emergency
Under the general guidance of the Communication Chief and Communication Specialist and working closely with team leads within the Communication Centre and Strategy, Partnership and Knowledge Management Centre (SPKC), the consultancy will focus on communication support for supply partnerships at Supply Division (SD). This includes designing and supporting the implementation of joint communication plans and frameworks; multi-country coordination for communication planning and content gathering; partnership communication capacity building; coordinating the development of communication assets and materials. The consultancy entails close collaboration with Private Sector, Fundraising and Partnerships teams, UNICEF national committees and regional and country offices, and supports the management of reputational risk, related to supply partnerships.
