Under the supervision of the Country Coordinator and the technical coordination of the Child Protection Manager, ADAP Manager, and BMI Senior Policy and Advocacy Coordinator, the Consultant will support the development of a comprehensive documentation blueprint to be implemented in 2026. This blueprint will serve as a strategic framework to guide the systematic documentation of UNICEF’s interventions in Italy over the past decade, with a particular focus on capturing models, methodologies, achievements, and lessons learned.
The documentation blueprint will reflect UNICEF’s programming in a high-income country (HIC) context, as outlined in the 2023 Programme Guidance for HICs. It will also take into account the unique operational setup in Italy, where UNICEF operates alongside a National Committee, ensuring complementarity between UNICEF’s technical engagement and the National Committee’s role. UNICEF works in some of the world’s toughest places, to reach the world’s most disadvantaged children. To save their lives. To defend their rights. To help them fulfill their potential.
This contract looks for talented individuals in the space of monitoring and data analysis with qualitative and mixed methods that are familiar with both Community Health and Social and Behaviour Change approaches, in particular related to inclusion of Young People and their perceptions towards being part of the Community Health workforce as community health workers. The consultant will report to UNICEF Community Health SBC Specialist and SBC Data and Monitoring specialist in the health and SBC sections correspondingly.
