The objective of this international consultancy is to provide technical guidance on the two major initiatives undertaken by UNICEF Georgia:
• Development of the context-tailored concept and piloting of the child rights impact assessment mechanism (CRIA)
• Development of the child rights training materials and contributing to the training of child rights trainers (ToT)
Join us as Health & Nutrition Officer to provide technical and strategic support to promote evidence-based policies, programme implementation, monitoring, and capacity building. Key focus areas include maternal and adolescent nutrition, immunization, environmental health, climate-resilient health systems, childhood lead exposure prevention, non-communicable disease prevention, micronutrient interventions, and health financing. The position works closely with the government and offers an opportunity to contribute to improving equitable and sustainable health and nutrition outcomes for children and women in Bhutan.
Under the overall supervision of the Deputy Representative and the direct supervision of the Chief, Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation, the consultant will provide technical support to UNICEF Algeria throughout the development of the Country Programme Document (CPD) 2028–2032. Working closely with programme and operations teams, Government counterparts, the Regional Office and other stakeholders, the consultant will support the Country Office in developing the CPD and related documentation in accordance with UNICEF's Country Programme Procedure, Country Programme Planning Guidance, CPD roadmap and corporate guidance.
The primary purpose of this consultancy is to provide continuous technical accompaniment to the Government of Sao Tomé and Príncipe (STP) and to the UNICEF STP Country Office in preparing for the full transition from Gavi support by 2030. The consultant will support the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Finance in the design, costing, adoption and implementation of a credible transition financing strategy that secures the sustainability of the national immunization programme and strengthens the domestic financing of primary health care more broadly.
The objective of this consultancy is to develop a comprehensive, costed, and operational implementation plan for Health Care Technology Management that translates policy directives into actionable interventions across all levels of the health system.
