Parmi les premières activités réalisées figurent : l’élaboration de cinq manuels de formation sur la protection des enfants dans l’environnement numérique, l’élaboration de lignes directrices à l’intention de l’industrie technologique pour la protection des enfants en ligne, ainsi que l’organisation de formations pilotes auprès des professionnels de la protection de l’enfance.
Les manuels destinés aux professionnels ont été élaborés et testés auprès de différents intervenants, notamment les travailleurs sociaux, les officiers de police et les enseignants. Toutefois, les formations pilotes ont révélé plusieurs insuffisances méthodologiques et des lacunes de traduction. Un appui technique supplémentaire est donc nécessaire afin d’améliorer la qualité pédagogique et d’assurer une cohérence globale entre les différents outils développés.
