How can you make a difference?  

Provide ongoing technical advisory, solution design, and implementation support for Supply Division digitalization initiatives leveraging Microsoft Power Platform technologies, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Dataverse, and related Microsoft cloud services. The assignment will support the design, enhancement, integration, automation, reporting, and optimization of low-code enterprise solutions, workflows, analytics platforms, and digital business processes across Supply Division operations for 11 months.

Scope of Work:
The Consultant will work under the general supervision of the Business Analysis Manager, in the Information Communication Technology team (OATC) at UNICEF Supply Division , in close collaboration and matrix management with Supply Division business units, technical teams, external vendors, and implementation partners.
The consultancy will operate under a deliverables-based model whereby technical priorities, implementation activities, and assignments may evolve during the consultancy period based on operational requirements, programme priorities, infrastructure needs, and digital transformation initiatives.
1. The consultant will provide technical support for Supply Division digitalization initiatives, low-code enterprise applications, operational platforms, and workflow automation solutions leveraging Microsoft Power Platform technologies including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Dataverse, SharePoint Online, and related Microsoft 365 services.
2.Support the enhancement, implementation, maintenance, and optimization of enterprise collaboration platforms, business applications, reporting tools, workflow automation solutions, and digital operational systems.
3.Provide technical support for business process automation initiatives, workflow digitization, approval workflows, operational tracking systems, dashboards, reporting solutions, and data visualization platforms.
4.Support implementation and operational continuity of enterprise applications, SharePoint-based solutions, Microsoft Teams integrations, Microsoft 365 collaboration platforms, and Power Platform environments.
5.Provide technical support for operational analytics, reporting, visualization, and business intelligence solutions including Power BI, Dataverse reporting, and related analytics platforms. See TOR for details.

To qualify as an advocate for every child you will have… 

Minimum requirements:

  • Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science
  • Work Experience:
    • Minimum 5 years of the following experience:
      • Experience developing and supporting solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Dataverse, and SharePoint.
      • Experience automating business processes, approvals, and operational workflows.
      • Experience with application testing, troubleshooting, deployments, UAT, and production support.
      • Experience building dashboards and operational reporting solutions.
  • Language requirement: Fluency in English
  • Skills:
    • Power Platform: Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Dataverse —Advanced
    • Collaboration Tools: SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft 365 — Intermediate
    • DevOps & Support: Azure DevOps, environment management, release support — Intermediate
    • Reporting & Analytics: Power BI, Excel, operational reporting — Intermediate to Advanced
    • Workflow Automation: Business process mapping and workflow digitization — Advanced

Desirables:

  • Experience supporting enterprise or NGO digital transformation initiatives.
