UNICEF Lebanon seeks a Biomedical Engineer Consultant under a Long-Term Arrangement (LTA) to provide technical expertise on medical equipment management, healthcare technology assessments, installation and commissioning, maintenance oversight, and quality assurance of biomedical systems. The consultant will support health system strengthening and emergency health interventions across Lebanon on an as-needed basis.
The purpose of this assignment is to provide ERO with technical backstopping throughout the assessment cycle, including
review and refinement of the assessment framework and tools, sampling design, development of assessment protocols
and manuals, training of assessors and supervisors, pilot testing (if required), data collection and quality assurance, data
management and analysis, report writing, dissemination of findings, and capacity strengthening of ERO staff.
