The role of the individual consultant aligns directly with the optimization of the PHC concept by ensuring vaccines are accessible at the community level, increasing coverage, and ensuring timely delivery of vaccines and other PHC commodities using the new initiatives such as DRIVE [Direct Delivery of Routine Immunization Vaccines and other PHC commodities for equity].
