UNICEF Pacific is in search of a dedicated and proactive national or international Consultant. The consultancy is for a period of 97 days (83 remote and 14 in country) spread over 7 months. The consultancy is open to both national and international applicants and is expected to be home-based with 14 days at country level. The consultant must be available for meetings scheduled during Vanuatu working hours. The consultant will report on a day-to-day basis to the Chief of UNICEF Field Office in Vanuatu, who will provide administrative oversight and facilitate engagement with national counterparts and partners. Technical guidance, quality assurance, and coordination support will be provided by the Climate and Environmental Specialist based at the UNICEF Pacific Multi-Country Office in Suva, Fiji. For consultants based outside of Vanuatu, two in-country missions are anticipated over the duration of the assignment. The number, timing, and duration of these missions will be defined during the inception phase. The consultant’s financial proposal must include all the costs required to carry out the assignment.
