UNICEF works with governments and partners to strengthen digital learning ecosystems that expand access to quality education for all children, particularly those who are marginalized, out of school, or affected by emergencies. Across Asia Pacific, UNICEF is supporting countries to deploy and scale digital learning platforms such as the Learning Passport, while advancing the Accessible Digital Textbooks Initiative to ensure inclusive and accessible learning materials for all learners, including children with disabilities. The Learning Passport supports national digital learning platforms that enable curriculum delivery, teacher professional development, and continuity of learning in both connected and low- and no-connectivity environments. The ADT initiative supports governments to develop accessible digital textbooks aligned with international accessibility standards and integrate them into national learning management systems.
