To advance its Digital Learning Strategy (2025–2030), UNICEF is establishing a new Strategic Partner Engagement Consultancy. This consultancy will focus on managing critical partner negotiations, roadmaps, and events, , and delivering joint strategies and agreements that will continue to build the technical and programmatic foundations of the Learning Passport programme. The successful result(s) of this consultancy will advance the priorities of UNICEF’s new Digital Learning Strategy and contribute to the goals of the coming Strategic Plan. The consultant will work closely with the Learning Passport Global Lead to support targeted, and core, partnership negotiation and engagement workflows. This will include guiding the technical strategic direction of agreements to best deliver programmatic results, with a focus on supporting successful executive engagements of UNICEF and its key Learning Passport partners. Additionally, the consultant will support the management of the Learning Passport Leadership Council—under the direction of the Global Lead—and collaborate with all major Learning Passport partners. These efforts will contribute directly to the successful implementation of UNICEF’s Digital Learning Strategy (2025–2030) by successfully managing private sector engagements needed to scale digital learning initiatives globally.

The Product Designer will tackle design specific tasks assigned and estimated during regular sprint planning sessions, in coordination with the Product Owner and Design Lead, using our Agile Project Management Methodology. This consultancy will create and support the integration of an A/B testing framework into UNICEF's UX/UI design process. This work will contribute to the development of intuitive and accessible interfaces and features for UNICEF’s Drupal platform, as well as enhancing the UNICEF.org Design System, which is an enterprise-level, variable and component based Figma library. The expected results will include the participation in Sprint Planning and Sprint Demo sessions, along with full demonstration of the design task, and proper handover in Figma with notations for Product, Design, and Development teams, as noted above.

Since its establishment in January 1996, OPSCEN has served as a core enabler of EMOPS’ mission by providing 24/7 global information and communication services, beginning with its support to the Kosovo crisis in 1999. Its primary mission is to support UNICEF in delivering on its Core Commitments for Children by offering real-time services that enhance global situational awareness, facilitate the sharing of emergency and securityrelated information, support rapid crisis communications, and serve as the first point of contact during critical incidents. To help fulfil this role, OSC relies on OPSCEN to monitor security and humanitarian developments in real time, issue alerts, provide support, and act as UNICEF’s Crisis Coordination Center in the event of a critical emergency. OPSCEN currently comprises a team of ten, including the Manager (Emergency Specialist), Emergency Officer P2, Information Management Officer, and seven Programme Associate (Emergency Operations Center), who operate on a rotating basis to ensure continuous global coverage

Positions at the P-2 level are considered as early-career professionals who both handle their own cases and provide investigative and operational support to the section Chief and Investigations Managers on assigned cases. The primary focus of managerial oversight is to ensure that the Investigations Officer receives the necessary guidance and support to ensure that results are delivered in accordance with the vision set forward by the leadership of the Section and Investigations Service; and that the Investigations Officer is able to develop their investigative skills so as to be able to evolve in their investigation career.Under the overall guidance of the Deputy Director of Investigations and the direct supervision of the Chief of the Strategy, Intake & Analysis Unit, the Investigations Officer will be a key member of the team responsible for planning and conducting investigations (in both the English and French languages) of allegations of fraud, abuse of authority, mismanagement, harassment, sexual misconduct and/or retaliatory actions in or affecting UNICEF.The Investigations Officer will also provide support to the day-to-day operational and specialized activities of the investigation function, to enhance the smooth running of the supervisor’s work and the section’s operations.NOTE: This post has the possibility of remote/home-based modality, reporting to the New York-based Chief of the Strategy, Intake & Analysis Unit. The position will require travel to UNICEF locations, often in difficult duty stations. Duty travel for those working remotely outside of the designated duty station is subject to certain applicable restrictions.
