By engaging with government agencies, civil society, private sector, and international partners, the Programme Officer will advocate for inclusive and child-sensitive climate policies and interventions. The role also involves generating data, evidence, and tools to strengthen programming and influence public and private investment in climate resilience. Furthermore, the incumbent will identify and promote innovative solutions, advocate for sustainable practices, and empower children and youth as key actors in climate action, ensuring that the most vulnerable populations are prioritized and protected.
