Cold Chain Logistic Specialist (Vaccine Management), (P-3), Temporary Appointment, Kinshasa, DRC, (6 months) #136949 in Democratic Republic of Congo
The UNICEF Office in DRC is looking for an experienced international Cold Chain Logistics Specialist (Vaccine Management) at P-3 level. Based in Kinshasa and working under the guidance of the Immunization Supply Chain Manager, you will support the Ministry of Health and provincial EPI teams to strengthen vaccine management, cold chain performance, and logistics coordination, for routine immunization, supplementary immunization activities, and the ongoing response to polio outbreaks. Your work will translate directly into fewer stock-outs, less wastage, better temperature monitoring, stronger data, and ultimately, more children reached with life-saving vaccines. This is a role for someone who thrives at the intersection of technical excellence and field reality, a logistician at heart, a coach to national teams, and a trusted partner to government counterparts and GPEI partners alike. You will help shape the systems that keep DRC on the path toward a polio-free future, while building the routine immunization foundations that will protect generations to come. If you are that person, passionate about making a lasting difference for children in DRC, energized by complex operational challenges, and ready to bring your expertise to one of the most consequential immunization programs in the world — join UNICEF, the world's leading organization for the defense of children's rights. Together, we can ensure that no child in DRC is left behind because a vaccine didn't reach them in time.
