The Supply Specialist reports to the Supply and Logistics Manager (P4 level) and is responsible for managing elements of the supply chains of a larger supply operation. The supply chain operations include planning, procurement, contracting, customs clearance, warehousing, in country transport and distribution, as well as monitoring of supplies, services and construction works. The incumbent supports management collaboration with programmes in defining supply interventions to meet programmatic needs and achieve results for children, and provides technical and advisory support to governments, national systems and partners on supply chain management.

UNICEF Brazil is looking for seasoned professionals to lead the delivery of its Country Programme in selected territories in the North and Northeast of the country. The UNICEF Chiefs of Field Office in Belem and in Recife will oversee our programmes across several states and municipalities in their areas of responsibility and are responsible for establishing optimal partnerships for the delivery of results for Brazilian girls and boys. The post holders will oversee the effective and efficient use of UNICEF financial and human resources as well as minimum operating security standards of UNICEF office in Recife/Belem. The incumbents will be accountable for leading UNICEF advocacy, programme and partnership engagement with State and Municipal governments, as well as with key programme stakeholders, to advance key results for the most vulnerable children and adolescents through quality social services and protection systems with an inter-cultural and equity-based inclusive approach. We are looking for experienced professionals, with a track record in designing and implementing advocacy, engaging with a wide range of stakeholders, including decision makers and key public and private audiences, to build support for the rights of children and adolescents. We are seeking candidates with proven leadership and management skills, and with a track record of establishing alliances with partners in government, civil society, private sector and community-based organizations.
