For every child, the right to a voice

UNICEF’s Asia Pacific Regional Office (APRO) supports 22 Country Offices to deliver results for children in 36 countries and territories. The Advocacy and Communication Section aims to influence public and political discourse, positioning UNICEF as a leading voice for children. It seeks to progressively influence governments, private sector, youth, parents and the public to take action for children and their rights in Asia-Pacific, while also establishing UNICEF as a bold, moral, leading voice for children and young people and a partner of choice, including through credible, evidence-based advocacy. In supporting Country Offices (COs) to deliver UNICEF’s mandate, the section serves as a regional center of excellence in advocacy, communication, and brand.
