                                                         TERMS OF REFERENCE

UNICEF Ukraine requires professional video editing and post-production services to transform raw footage collected by UNICEF staff, videographers, production companies and partners into compelling, audience-focused video products. This content is used across multiple communication channels, including social media platforms, digital campaigns, websites, donor reports, advocacy initiatives, media outreach, and high-level events.

Minimum requirements:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degrees in information technologies

Work Experience:

  • 7+ years of experience with professional digital video editing
  • Demonstrated experience in videography in development/ human rights/child rights.
  • Familiarity with Frame.io will be an asset

Language Requirements:

  • Ukrainian (Proficient/Native [C2])
  • English (Upper Intermediate [B2])

 

Knowledge/Expertise/Skills:

  • Editing skills from 1-minute to 20-minute films
  • Knowledge of editing software, captions, subtitles, music and full range of needs for editing
  • Ability to export films in formats for social media
  • Access to all editing software

Desirables:

  • Previous experience working with UNICEF would be an asset.
  • Experience in multi-media production would be an asset.
  • Ability to work quickly and responsively
  • Cultural sensitivity and valuing diversity
  • Demonstrates integrity and high ethical standards
  • Displays cultural, gender, religion, race, nationality and age sensitivity and adaptability.
  • Fulfils all obligations to gender sensitivity and zero tolerance for sexual harassment

  • Technical proposal:
    Applicants are requested to submit 5 HIS video samples (max 5 minutes) demonstrating relevant experience in the video editing and post-production. The sample should meet the following criteria: the videos demonstrate advanced technical skills in videography, including mastery of composition, editing, and storytelling.

 

Remarks:  

UNICEF does not charge a processing fee at any stage of its recruitment, selection, and hiring processes (i.e., application stage, interview stage, validation stage, or appointment and training). UNICEF will not ask for applicants’ bank account information.
