Why Join UNICEF Mali?
At UNICEF, your work goes beyond supply chain management. Every procurement decision, every shipment delivered and every operational improvement contributes to improving the lives of children and helping communities build resilience.
As Supply and Logistics Manager, you will lead complex operations, influence strategic decisions, collaborate with diverse stakeholders and contribute to humanitarian and development outcomes that have a lasting impact. This role offers a unique combination of leadership responsibility, technical challenge and meaningful purpose in support of UNICEF's mission for children.
Join UNICEF in Mali and help deliver life-saving results for children in one of the most dynamic and challenging humanitarian and development contexts in West and Central Africa.
Mali continues to face a complex humanitarian situation driven by insecurity, population displacement, climate-related shocks and limited access to essential services. UNICEF works alongside government counterparts, communities and partners to improve the lives of children through programmes in health, nutrition, education, child protection, WASH and social protection.
In this environment, strong and resilient supply chains are essential to ensuring that critical supplies and services reach children and communities when and where they are needed most. The Supply and Logistics team plays a central role in enabling UNICEF to respond rapidly to emergencies, strengthen national systems and deliver sustainable results at scale.
As Supply and Logistics Manager, you will have the opportunity to lead a highly visible function that directly supports UNICEF's mission, influences strategic decision-making, and strengthens operational excellence across the country. Your leadership will help ensure that children and families receive the support they need, even in the most challenging circumstances.
Join our team and lead the supply chain operations that enable UNICEF Mali to deliver results for children every day.
Reporting to the Deputy Representative Operations, you will provide strategic leadership and oversight of UNICEF's supply chain operations across Mali. You will guide the planning, procurement, contracting, customs clearance, warehousing, transportation, distribution and monitoring of supplies, services and construction activities that support both humanitarian and development programmes.
Working closely with programme teams, government counterparts, UN agencies, donors and implementing partners, you will strengthen supply chain performance, drive operational innovation, manage risks and ensure that supply solutions contribute effectively to programme outcomes. You will also play a key role in emergency preparedness and response, helping UNICEF maintain operational readiness and deliver timely assistance to vulnerable children and communities.
