To qualify as an advocate for every child you will have…
Minimum requirements:
- Education: Masters’ degree in Public Health, Child Protection, Business Administration, Computer Science, Social Work, Gender-Based Violence
- Work Experience: A minimum of 10 years' experience in Child Protection, specifically in working in humanitarian and development contexts across East and Southern Africa with a focus on case management and information management systems strengthening
- Skills: Strong understanding of case management best practices; data protection and privacy protocols that do no harm and are based on need to know principles; experience with Primero/CPIMS+ implementation, training and in-country support; experience with family tracing and reunification; patience and empathy required when working with social workers training the CPIMS+ and improving digital literacy; inter-agency collaboration experience; ability to communicate effectively to government partners on technical concepts
- Language Requirements: Kiswahili and English with preference for knowledge of East and South African languages (including, but not limited to, Bantu, Cushitic, Nilotic).
- Desirables: Understanding of cross-border case management
