Under the direct supervision of the Business Analysis Manager (Partnerships) - UNISON, the Business Analysis Officer is expected to work in the planning, design, development, testing and roll-out of any new requirements identified by Public Partnerships users, and to support public sector partnerships stakeholders to understand and derive value from UNISON. The incumbent will be a vital link between the business and technical teams and be responsible for drafting documents, conducting trainings, and consulting and coordinating with relevant HQ teams as well as Country Offices and Regional Offices, to support effective integration and drive user adoption for public sector partnerships.
This role is expected to take ownership for coordination across teams working on public sector partnerships, responding to operational issues, and communicating to the wider UNISON business and technical teams. The incumbent will demonstrate strong ability to effectively self-manage priorities and be able to collaborate effectively between end users and technical teams.
The incumbent will work closely with the technical team (Salesforce Solution lead, Integration developer, Salesforce support resources, contracted providers of Salesforce apps) in the rollout and adoption of any new technical solutions. While the focus will be primarily on solutions and uptake for teams working on public sector partnerships across the organization, the incumbent is expected to be familiar with and backstop on the general workings of UNISON for private sector partnerships as well, and to contribute to synergies within the system across public and private sector processes and functions.
To fully support MICS planning, implementation and dissemination activities, UNICEF HQ needs to hire a high-level sampling consultant to advise on sampling related issues, provide feedback on data analysis including the calculation of sample weights, and report writing by reviewing sampling related components of the survey final reports.

UNICEF's Division of Private Fundraising and Partnerships (PFP) in Geneva is pivotal to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) outlined in the organization’s 2022-2025 Strategic Plan. The division focuses on maximizing private sector fundraising, partnerships, and engagement. Central to these efforts is the Innovative Financing for Children (IF4C) function, which develops and implements innovative financing mechanisms to mobilize resources for children's welfare globally. These initiatives address critical issues such as climate change, environmental sustainability, and disaster risk reduction, targeting the most vulnerable and marginalized children and adolescents. The IF4C team plays a crucial role in driving these efforts forward through strategic private sector engagements.
