More specifically, the designer will support the production of a number of data-driven publications and dissemination products on mortality and children on the move. The designer will be responsible for the conceptualization, design, layout, picture selection and typesetting of the publications, and for ensuring broad alignment of the products with UNICEF design standards and branding. Since most of the products will be data-driven with a number of graphs, maps and figures, the designer will need to produce creative and visually appealing final products.

The technical documentation function entails the drafting of functional and business requirements, user stories and visualization of business and process flow to support the architectural and functional enhancements of HOPE. This function plays a critical role in ensuring adequate quality assurance and user acceptance tests are performed prior to clear the deployment to production of new features and bug fixes.
