UNICEF Europe and Central Asia Regional Office (ECARO) is looking for a qualified Consultant who has expertise in inclusive education and social integration of refugee adolescents and youth to document the PATHWAYS experience in the region and compile case studies from various countries, highlighting lessons learned.
nder the overall guidance of the Chief of Communication, Advocacy and Partnerships, the intern reports to the Resource Mobilization Officer and is responsible for research, tracking and analysis of the private sector space and support the strategic direction, proposition development, management, growth and renewal of these high value partnerships. This intern will work closely with the different UNICEF departments and others to deliver the desired outcomes.
Under the guidance and direct supervision of the Chief, Field Operations, the Chiefs of Field Offices (CFO) in Lubumbashi and Mbandaka will provide overall leadership, coordination, and strategic direction for UNICEF’s programmes and operations in these areas. The CFO will represent UNICEF at the local level, ensure effective delivery programme, foster partnerships, and manage the performance of staff and use of financial resources in line with organizational goals and humanitarian principles.
Under the supervision of the Planning, Monitoring & Evaluation Section, the consultant will conduct a summative evaluation of the Safe Online funded programme titled ‘A systematic approach in making the internet safe for children in South Africa (2022–2025)’.
The purpose of the assignment is to assess the extent to which the programme achieved its intended outcomes and outputs as planned, and to evaluate its relevance, coherence, efficiency, effectiveness, sustainability and impact.
The consultancy is for 60 days over a 6-month period.
The purpose of the consultancy is to conduct an evaluability assessment that will provide UNICEF management and programme staff with evidence about the readiness of the office to conduct evaluation as there is doubt about the availability of planning, monitoring, and reporting documents on gender programming. The evaluability will be timely to provide recommendations to improve the gender programming in preparation for the next Country Programme and the revision of the 2021 Gender Programmatic Review.
