UNICEF Uzbekistan, in collaboration with the National Agency for Social Protection (NASP) under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, seeks to undertake a consultancy with the overall objective of operationalizing and strengthening the formal foster care system. The consultancy will focus on developing key components necessary to ensure a well-organized, standardized, and supported foster care system in line with international best practices and the specific cultural context of Uzbekistan.
Under the direct supervision of the Partnerships Manager, this post will develop new partnerships and manage key existing partnerships with the sector. The incumbent will develop and implement fundraising strategies to focus on maximizing value from India-based major donors and foundations in support of the country programme’s priority focus.
The Administrative & Finance Assistant is responsible for executing a broad variety of standardized administrative and financial tasks for the respective section(s) requiring thorough knowledge of UNICEF administrative and financial procedures, processes and policies.
In this capacity, the need to project the image of a credible and reliable service provider is imperative to quality of process delivery, and the impact of work directly reflects on the overall reputation of the team in terms of responsiveness to client needs and quality of process execution.

Under the supervision of the Chief of Education or Specialist, the Education Officer is expected to provide leadership on targeted components of the Education programme, particularly in Fiji and at Pacific regional level, and throughout the programming process, including development, partnerships, implementation, programme progress monitoring, evaluating and reporting. The role is a temporary assignment on an initial 364-day basis, with potential for extension.
