The main objective of the Vaccine Management and Cold Chain Logistic Specialist vaccine management is to support the identified provinces in the capitalization of the acquired knowledge, the transfer of competence in systematic immunization, the preparation and implementation of the logistical activities of polio and other epidemic responses. All these activities will be carried out with the aim of strengthening EPI vaccine management in an integrated manner.
UNICEF Mongolia is looking for a Programme Officer, who will provide technical support and assistance to contribute to the country program outputs : i) National and subnational governments demonstrated increased political commitments towards equity-focused, child-rights related budget allocation ii) national and subnational governments have increased capacity to make policy decisions related based on quality up-to-date and evidence.
Under the guidance and direct supervision of the Chief, Field Operations, the Consultant will support the Mbandaka team for overall leadership, coordination, and strategic direction for UNICEFs in the closing operation of the office. The Consultant will support the Mbandaka field office team to organize all the actions leading to the closure by December 31st, 2025. He may also be requested to support remotely or in site the Kisangani Outpost.
