To qualify as an advocate for every child you will have…
Minimum requirements
- Education: Master or equivalent (Advanced University Degree) in Public Policy, Political Science, International Relations, International Development, Public Administration, Economics, Communication, or another relevant field is required.
- Work Experience: At least 5 years of relevant work experience in advocacy, campaigning, or communications is required.
- Skills: Advocacy Strategy, Social Media, Content Development, Project Management, Budget Management, Public Policy
- Language Requirements: Fluency in French and at least intermediate knowledge of English is required.
Desirables
- Knowledge of another official UN language (Arabic, Chinese, Russian or Spanish) or a local language is an asset.
- Experience in advocacy at the international level, training and facilitation, partnership development and management, and working in developing and emergency environments is an asset.
- Previous experience working within the United Nations system is an asset.
- Relevant experience at country level, particularly in development, fragile settings and humanitarian contexts.
