Since 2019, UNICEF South Africa supported approximately 44000 young mothers through Young Mentor Mother (YMM) programmes in three provinces (Kwa-Zulu Natal, Gauteng, and Limpopo). For sustainability and scale-up, eeffective oversight and management are essential for the quality scale up of the young mentor mother programme.
