How can you make a difference?
I: Purpose of the Assignment:
Under the direct supervision of the Chief of Child Survival and Development the consultant will also support routine nutrition programme monitoring to track progress towards the achievement of nutrition targets. This will include technical support to the government and partners in development of reporting tools, monitoring, and ensuring collection, collation and utilization of nutrition data across all/multiple platforms.
II: Scope of the Assignment:
The consultant will work at the Monrovia office and will support field missions across the fifteen counties. The consultant will support the following activities:
- Support development of reporting tools (Community Health & Nutrition) and dissemination
- Support integration of Adolescent data collection and reporting through the CBIS platform
- Prepare quarterly dashboards of progress.
- Facilitate planning meetings, consultations and working sessions with government and partners on issues of data collection and reporting
- Undertake field visits to provide on-the-job coaching/orientation and training of front-line health workers, Education officers and CHT staff.

IV: Qualification/Experience/Competencies/Skills Required
Education:
- Advance University degree information technology, computer science, statistics, nutrition, public health.
Work Experience:
- Minimum 2 years directly relevant work experience in nutrition, analysis, and data management. Experience with information systems, statistical analysis including the use of relevant software
Other skills and competencies required:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Willingness to travel and work in field environments
- Candidate must be a Liberian national
- Interested applicants must submit a cover letter together with their CV
Language Proficiency:
- Fluency in English is required; Knowledge of another UN language (Arabic) or local language an asset.
V: Working Conditions:
Home Based ( X ) Office Based
The necessary computer equipment for the consultation will be provided by the consultant or the consultant is expected to use his/her own ICT equipment.
VI: Supervision:
The consultant will be supervised by the Chief, Child Survival & Development.
VII: Technical and Financial Proposals:
Applicants are invited to submit with their online application:

Selection criteria will be based on qualifications, skills, expertise and experience in the required field, and the quality of the technical and financial offer. Each application will be assessed first on its technical merits and subsequently on its price.
