PURPOSE OF ASSIGNMENT:
The People & Culture team is seeking to hire a People & Culture Community Coordinator to maintain and develop the Global NatCom P&C Network in support of ongoing Learning & Development (L&D) activities. With a focus on collective learning and development, this role also supports the implementation of the Private Fundraising and Partnerships (PFP) P&C Learning and Development programme, delivering tailored learning and knowledge products adapted to the ongoing needs of PFP, NatComs, and regional UNICEF teams.

SCOPE OF WORK:
Reporting to the People and Culture Manager, Learning & Development, PFP and under the general guidance of the Chief People & Culture, the People & Culture Community Coordinator is expected to support the Global NatCom People and Culture Network, as well as current initiatives in People and Culture Learning & Development, to ensure the design and delivery of high-quality training for the PFP division, as well as produce guidelines and knowledge products supporting learning in PFP and in UNICEF regions, globally. This role will also act as a key contact point for People and Culture and L&D support for NatComs and PFP outposted staff.
- Support the Chief People & Culture, PFP by maintaining and developing the Global UNICEF NatCom People & Culture Network comprising PFP, National Committees, and PSFR Regional and Country Office People & Culture colleagues.
- Facilitate networking, knowledge sharing, and learning partnerships between PFP, NatComs and UNICEF regional PSFR offices on key People and Culture issues and initiatives.
- Support the Global Private Sector Operations Community in the design, planning, and facilitation of Global Operations Community events and initiatives.
- Support the People & Culture Manager, L&D in the identification and prioritization of learning needs of the National Committees.
- Design and deliver the Project Leadership training as a core course for PFP Corporate Partnerships’ Global Lead Account Managers (GLAM) Academy.
- Support and develop the high quality and sustainability of PFP’s coaching offer to PFP, NatComs, and UNICEF staff, through delivery of Brain-Based coaching and Development Planning coaching.
- Provide tailored training for PFP, UNICEF, and NatComs staff, including Development Planning, Project Management, and Design Thinking.

To qualify as an advocate for every child you will have…
Education:
- An advanced university degree (Master's degree or higher) in human resource management, business management, international relations, psychology, or another related field is required.
- Alternatively, a first-level degree with an additional two years of relevant work experience will be accepted in lieu of an advanced degree.
Experience:
- A minimum of five years of increasingly responsible professional experience in human resource management or learning and development is required.
- Demonstrated experience in coaching and training facilitation.
- UN/UNICEF experience is an asset.
- Skilled in managing communication channels and maintaining organized, accessible knowledge hubs for diverse audiences.
Language:
- Fluency in English is required. Knowledge of another official UN language (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian or Spanish) or a local language is an asset.

Remarks:
Please indicate your all-inclusive (lump sum) fees against the deliverables listed above, including all associated administrative and travel costs (if applicable), in the cover letter. The office selects the individual based on best value for money.
Payment of professional fees will be based on submission of agreed deliverables. UNICEF reserves the right to withhold payment in case the deliverables submitted are not up to the required standard or in case of delays in submitting the deliverables on the part of the consultant.

Individuals engaged under a consultancy or individual contract will not be considered “staff members” under the Staff Regulations and Rules of the United Nations and UNICEF’s policies and procedures, and will not be entitled to benefits provided therein (such as leave entitlements and medical insurance coverage). Their conditions of service will be governed by their contract and the General Conditions of Contracts for the Services of Consultants and Individual Contractors. Consultants and individual contractors are responsible for determining their tax liabilities and for the payment of any taxes and/or duties, in accordance with local or other applicable laws.
The selected candidate is solely responsible to ensure that the visa (applicable) and health insurance required to perform the duties of the contract are valid for the entire period of the contract.
