Purpose for the job:
Under the general supervision of the Programme Budget Manager performs a variety of specialized tasks in support of the preparation, monitoring, and control of the budget, involving several different sources of funds and programmes and monitors and allocates incoming funds, manage donor (PBA) Programme Budget Allotment files and make allocations to the appropriate programmes.

To qualify as an advocate for every child you will have…
Minimum requirements:
- A first University Degree degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration or any other comparable recognized professional qualification or valid professional certification (CA; CPA; etc.) from an internationally recognized, accredited chartered accountancy institution is required
- A minimum of two (2) years of progressive experience in financial management with a strong bias in Budgetary /Financial Control preferably in an international organization.
- Relevant experience in a UN system agency or organization is considered as an asset.
Desirables:
- Developing country work experience and/or familiarity with emergency.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel required.
- Experience in database packages, web-based management systems and ERP systems (preferably SAP financial modules) is considered as an asset.
- Experience with IPSAS and/or IFRS is considered as an asset.
