Minimum requirements:

• Education: An advanced university degree in one of the following fields is required: in management information systems, statistics, data management, computer studies, development studies or areas related to data and information management.
• Work Experience: A minimum of five years of professional experience in Data and Information Management, Programme monitoring is required at the national and/or international level in development and/or humanitarian context. Experience working in a developing country is considered an asset, as is relevant experience in a UN system agency or organization.
• Other Required Skills :  
  • Require strong knowledge in advance MS excel, Power BI, Power Query, Tableau, InForm, Ona, Kobo Toolbox, and other data management and statistical tools.
  • Ability to visualize spatial data using GIS software (e.g., ArcGIS, QGIS) is desirable
  • Excellent Analytical oral and written skills; excellent drafting, formulation, reporting skills required.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; culturally and socially sensitive; ability to work inclusively and collaboratively with a range of partners, including grassroots community members, religious and youth organizations, and authorities at different levels; familiarity with tools and approaches of communications for development.
  • Ability to work and adapt professionally and effectively in a challenging environment; ability to work effectively in a multicultural team of international and national personnel.
  • Self-motivated, ability to work with minimum supervision; ability to work with tight deadlines.
  • Prior exposure to emergency programming is required
  • Demonstrated ability to develop integrated and multisectoral data systems is required
  • Understanding of results-based management, indicators, and programme monitoring frameworks.
• Language Requirements: Fluency in English is required. Knowledge of another official UN language (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian or Spanish) or a local language is an asset.
