How can you make a difference? 

UNICEF Kosovo Office does not have internal capacities on graphic design and therefore wishes to establish a Long-Term Agreement to facilitate and expedite the process of bringing onboard graphic designers to enhance the visual communication and branding of UNICEF in Kosovo. The consultant under the guidance of Partnerships and Communication Officer will develop all visibility material as per office and donor requirements. 

The Graphic design consultants will deliver on the below areas of expertise

• Develops general graphic designs for UNICEF Kosovo Office as per request
• Designs graphics and illustration materials using graphic design tools such as Adobe Illustrator, Inkspace, Adobe Photoshop, GIMP, AI
• Show a clear and mature style of design with an understanding to implement official UNICEF guidelines.
• Keeps updated on current trends in graphics design techniques.
 
Responsibilities of the Consultant:
The designer is tasked with creating visually appealing and functional designs that align with the project goals. Key responsibilities include:
• Concept Development: Generating innovative ideas and concepts that meet user needs.
• Collaboration: Working closely with stakeholders to ensure designs are feasible and meet requirements.
• Prototyping: Developing prototypes to test and refine design concepts.
• Feedback Integration: Incorporating feedback from users and stakeholders to enhance design quality.
 
Responsibilities of UNICEF:
UNICEF plays a crucial role in supporting the designer's efforts by providing:
• Guidelines and Standards: Establishing design standards that align with UNICEF's mission and values.
• Resource Allocation: Ensuring that designers have access to necessary resources and tools.
Stakeholder Engagement: Facilitating communication between designers and various stakeholders to ensure alignment with UNICEF's objectives.
• Monitoring and Evaluation: Assessing the impact of design initiatives on target populations and making necessary adjustments.

To qualify as an advocate for every child you will have… 

Minimum requirements:

  • Completion of university degree in a relevant field such as graphics design or fine arts.
  • Fluency in English and Albanian language is a must.
  • Three years of progressive experience in graphics design.
  • Experience working in the UN or other international development organization is an advantage.
