Major Responsibilities

Under the supervision of Fundraising/CRM and Data Analytics Officer (NOB Level), the Donation Processing and Donor Retention Fundraising Associate will assist administratively in helping UNICEF become data-driven entity by analyzing complex data sets, business logic, processes and identify requirements regarding donation payment and perform assessment on reporting requirements to develop long term strategy of donation processing. Additionally, the Donation Processing and Donor Retention Fundraising Associate will focus on improving payment collection rate and lifetime value across channels. Another key objective of this position is to further establish best practices (identifying gaps and plugging them, implement improvements and efficiencies) and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including payment gateway vendors, finance team, donor service, retention and acquisition teams, to resolve complex or escalated all barriers and issues.

  • Contribute to donation processing and collections, ensuring all outstanding committed donations from our donors are made successfully via credit cards and debit cards, submitted through authorized payment gateways, as well as direct debit where donor’s bank accounts are successfully deducted in full and on time while positive donor experiences and loyalty are optimized.
  • Provide input needed to Maximize the use of Salesforce, the cloud-based CRM software, to monitor and analyze performance of donation collections for both successful and failed transactions, implementing appropriate actions and measures to improve productivity and payment success rates.
  • Prepare regular reports on donation collections activities, presenting data and insights to teams.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, and donor service, to resolve complex or escalate all payment barriers and issues.
  • Stay current on industry trends and best practices in collections, implementing new strategies or technologies as needed to improve efficiency and results.
  • Provide support on day-to-day operations to deliver planned donor-centric communication based on psychographic and behavioral characteristics to increase commitment and to convince donors to make a larger donation through direct mailing, SMS, digital marketing, telephone marketing, and other forms such as social media and coordinate with authorized printing and fulfillment vendors to ensure effective stock control of donor communication materials, premiums and delivery.
  • Closely monitor communication material delivery performance across channels in order to provide evaluation reports and analyze results achieved to develop action plans to improve results accordingly.
  • Perform other reasonably related duties as assigned by supervisor.

 

Qualifications of Successful Candidate

Education:

• Completion of secondary education, preferably supplemented by technical or university courses related to the role of this position.

Experience:

  • Minimum of six years of progressively responsible administrative or clerical work experience required, preferably 3 years in relevant experience ideally from finance or insurance industry. Three (3) years and an additional two (2) years of experience may be substituted for candidates holding a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree, respectively.
  • Experience in payment processing, payment gateway, data analysis, and business intelligence will be an asset
  • knowledge of financial transactions and accounting principles can be beneficial for reconciling donations, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with regulations
  • Experience in data visualization tools will be an advantage
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, great operational skills, and high attention to details

 

Language and Computer literacy:

Fluency in English and Thai is required
