Fournir un soutien technique au bureau Unicef Togo dans son appui à la Survie de l’Enfant et plus particulièrement à l’unité Immunisation et à la Division de l’Immunisation pour coordonner les efforts de communication et de mobilisation sociale pour le changement social et comportemental en appui à la campagne du Grand rattrapage des enfants non ou incomplètement vaccinés et à l’autonomisation communautaire pour la résilience face aux maladies à potentiel épidémique et contre la Poliomyélite.

How can you make a difference? 

Champ d’application des travaux:

Sous la supervision du chef section Survie de l’Enfant et en étroite coordination avec le chargé SBC et le chargé de la vaccination au niveau du bureau pays, le consultant SBC sera chargé de fournir les orientations techniques, soutenir le développement de stratégies de changement social et comportemental ciblées et axées sur les données, afin de :

• Renforcer la capacité du bureau pays en matière de planification, de mise en œuvre, de suivi et d’évaluation rapides et efficaces de l’impact ;
• Appuyer les interventions SBC pour la campagne du Grand rattrapage des enfants 0 dose ou incomplètement vaccinés ;
• Mettre en œuvre des activités indispensables à l’autonomisation communautaire pour la résilience face aux maladies à potentiel épidémique et contre la Poliomyélite et ;
• Fournir un appui technique à toute intervention en cas de maladie évitable par la vaccination, ainsi que de la préparation et de la réaction à toute situation d’urgence de santé publique.

Le consultant SBC collaborera étroitement avec ses homologues nationaux du ministère de la Santé, ainsi qu'avec les partenaires impliqués dans les actions en matière de la promotion de la santé, d’immunisation et de l'Initiative mondiale pour l'éradication de la poliomyélite pour coordonner les approches de changement social et comportemental.

To qualify as an advocate for every child you will have… 

Niveau Education: Master en communication, en communication pour le développement, en sciences sociales et comportementales, ou un diplôme équivalent, avec un accent particulier sur la communication participative, la planification de la communication, l’engagement communautaire et la recherche participative

Expérience professionelle: Cinq années d’expérience de travail dans la planification et la gestion de programmes de développement social et de SBC, y compris trois années d’expérience solide et responsable dans la conception de communications stratégiques de campagnes de vaccination

• Capacité avérée à gérer les relations avec les Ministères, les administrations locales de district, les partenaires nationaux et de district, les prestataires de services, les communautés et autres parties prenantes
• La familiarité avec le système de santé du Togo est un atout important
• Capacité à travailler dans un environnement multiculture

Niveau de langue: La maîtrise du français est exigée. La connaissance de l’anglais ou d’une langue locale est un atout.

Individuals engaged under a consultancy or individual contract will not be considered “staff members” under the Staff Regulations and Rules of the United Nations and UNICEF’s policies and procedures, and will not be entitled to benefits provided therein (such as leave entitlements and medical insurance coverage). Their conditions of service will be governed by their contract and the General Conditions of Contracts for the Services of Consultants and Individual Contractors. Consultants and individual contractors are responsible for determining their tax liabilities and for the payment of any taxes and/or duties, in accordance with local or other applicable laws. 

The selected candidate is solely responsible to ensure that the visa (applicable) and health insurance required to perform the duties of the contract are valid for the entire period of the contract. Selected candidates are subject to confirmation of fully-vaccinated status against SARS-CoV-2 (Covid-19) with a World Health Organization (WHO)-endorsed vaccine, which must be met prior to taking up the assignment. It does not apply to consultants who will work remotely and are not expected to work on or visit UNICEF premises, programme delivery locations or directly interact with communities UNICEF works with, nor to travel to perform functions for UNICEF for the duration of their consultancy contracts.
