The Paid Media Specialist will lead Performance Marketing and instrumental in our digital paid media programs. Using a cross channel campaign management approach, you will be responsible for paid media strategy & planning, hands-on setup, execution, measurement, and ongoing optimizations.

UNICEF Thailand Country Office (TCO) is seeking a Digital Paid Media Specialist Consultant (International) to support the private sector fundraising team to build its capacity in digital fundraising focusing on paid media performance marketing, digital infrastructure and to uplift the performance of campaigns. As the expert of digital paid media with key strength in data analytics and intelligence in the organization, this role will build and maintain digital performance infrastructure and act as the go-to expert on campaign, and paid media performance on digital channels. Through the development of systematic performance reporting and insights the role will enable UNICEF to boost the online presence, brand identity, engagement and income generated from digital channels.
Work assignment, expected deliverable and delivery schedule:
Assignment 1: Providing strategic and technical expertise on Paid Media Campaigns to achieve business goals, including review of current paid Media Campaigns and improvement needed.
- Paid channels include google and meta-ads
- Consultancy area of focus: Ad account setup, account whitelisting, campaign setup, media buys, Ad account optimization, campaign budget optimization, event optimization, audience lists, always-on campaigns, split tests, use correct naming conventions, budgeting, reporting, quality and sanity checks, pixel management, ensuring channel best practices, and other execution details.
Expected deliverable:
a. A comprehensive paid media plan focuses on long term growth: must include proposed spends, estimated conversions and income based on historical learnings.
b. Documentation of best practices and successful case studies

Assignment 2: Conduct regular audits to identify optimization opportunities and benchmark against competitors.
- Tools: FB Ads Library, Google Trends, Auction Insights, SimilarWeb, and ad management platforms (Meta and Google).
- Optimization suggestions & regularly highlight areas for improvement.
Expected deliverable: Campaign performance report
Delivery Schedule: every quarterly, 30 April 2025, 30 July 2025, 30 Oct 2025, 30 Jan 2026
Assignment 3: AB Testing for Innovation and Optimization
Leverage trends and beta features on Meta and Google Ads for innovative campaign strategies.
Expected deliverable: Technical assistance is provided and documented on the following areas. Monthly AB test recommendations with detailed plans for implementation and expected outcomes.
Delivery schedule: every end of the month for following month planning
Assignment 4: Assignment: Develop a growth-oriented mindset within the team by enhancing their analytical and technical skills for performance marketing.
Expected deliverable: Technical assistance is provided and documented on the following areas.
a. Identification of capacity gaps and delivery of targeted training or course recommendations.
b. Strategic support for initiatives to enhance campaign performance and fundraising outcomes.
c. Lessons learned from tests documented and used for future campaign planning.

Assignment 5: Enhance measurement capabilities through audits and optimization of Google
Analytics and Conversion API (CAPI) integrations.
Expected deliverable:
a. Comprehensive audit and suggest setup improvements for Google Analytics (e.g., purchase and
checkout journey tracking).
b. Audit and correct CAPI integrations to minimize discrepancies between ad platforms and CMS.
Delivery schedule: 31 July 2025
Assignment 6: Conduct in-depth data analysis to identify drop-offs, optimize campaign performance through regular monitoring, and enhance user experience.
- Tools: GA4, in-house analytics, Meta/Google dashboards, and Hotjar recordings.
Expected deliverable: A comprehensive performance optimization report that includes actionable recommendations, conversion rate improvement strategies (covering UI/UX and product adjustments), and insights from Hotjar recordings to enhance the user experience.
Delivery schedule: every quarterly, 30 April 2025, 30 July 2025, 30 Oct 2025, 30 Jan 2026
Assignment 7: Design and implement a reporting structure that simplifies performance interpretation through Excel and Salesforce dashboards.
Expected deliverable: A comprehensive reporting framework, including templates and dashboards for clear campaign performance insights, accompanied by detailed documentation for ongoing use and maintenance.
Delivery schedule: 31 Sept 2025
Duration of Contract: 20 March 2025 – 19 March 2026
Potential extension for 24 months
Duty Travel: This can be a remote consultancy with occasional and specific travel requirement to TCO such as planning meeting.
Payment Schedule: Payment will be made against submission of deliverables per agreed workplan and timeline for the assignment
To qualify as an advocate for every child you will have…
- Year of work experience
- Managing large scale paid media with a proven track record of success and growth and ability to manage a team and external vendor.
- Language: Fluency in either English or Thai is required
- Experience setting up and implementing organisational structure, performance management system, and capacity building programme.
