In response, UNICEF is strengthening its work on public finance for children, social protection, planning, and evidence-based policymaking. The Social Policy, Planning and Monitoring Specialist (P-3) TA plays a key role in advancing these efforts and improving outcomes for the most vulnerable children. |

| Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance, supports countries in strengthening immunization systems through its Health Systems Strengthening (HSS) program. Under Nigeria’s HSS3 grant, PHCDAs in targeted states are improving governance, service delivery, and financial management. Effective financial management is crucial for transparent, accountable, and compliant use of donor funds, yet many PHCDAs need stronger systems and capacity. To address this, a Financial Management Consultant will support six state PHCDAs—Bayelsa, Kano, Kebbi, Kaduna, Sokoto, and Zamfara—to strengthen financial systems, internal controls, and reporting. |
