| UNICEF Maldives is seeking a Children and Climate Change Officer who will lead UNICEF Maldives’ work on climate change by supporting the planning, partnerships, coordination, implementation, monitoring, and reporting of children and climate change initiatives, with a priority focus on climate-resilient education and youth climate action. The position contributes to strengthening national and subnational implementation of climate education priorities, facilitating coordination with government and partners, supporting evidence generation and programme monitoring, and advancing climate finance project preparation processes under the guidance of the supervisor and relevant technical leads. |

International Consultant for capacity building on assessing the safety of foods

| The overall objective of this consultancy is to strengthen the technical capacity of the Public Health and Nutrition Centre to detect and assess antibiotic residues in foods of animal origin. The consultancy will enhance the competence of laboratory personnel, improve the accuracy and reliability of analytical results, and strengthen the use of laboratory evidence for food safety surveillance and public health decision-making.
Expected Outcomes: Participants will acquire the knowledge and practical skills required to accurately detect and quantify antibiotic residues in food products. Improved laboratory capacity will strengthen food safety surveillance systems, support AMR prevention efforts, and contribute to the availability of safer food for the population. |
